Paradise Pet Parks is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and passionate Animal Attendants to join our team. You'll work across various areas of our facility, including our boarding kennels, doggy daycare and off-site adventures aboard our Adventure Bus.

This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves dogs, enjoys being active and takes pride in providing exceptional care and enrichment for every dog in our care.

About the role

You'll be working alongside the team to provide exceptional care for all types of dogs. From the tiniest Chihuahuas in our little dog groups to huge Great Danes and Mastiffs, we welcome a wide range of dogs and focus on ensuring everyone is enriched, fulfilled, exercised, and comfortable.

Days begin with a lot of cleaning, followed by supervising large groups of dogs as they romp and play. You'll be responsible for walking the dogs through several adventure tracks, taking them for trips to the creek, weighing dogs, bathing dogs, preparing and distributing meals, supervising dogs in daycare, and updating customers about their dogs' stay with us.

With 30 acres of fields and bushland, along with private creek entrances, you'll be sure to get your steps in and spend plenty of time outside.

The following criteria will be highly regarded:

· Minimum 12 months of experience working with dogs of all sizes, preferably in a boarding, grooming, doggy daycare, or veterinary setting.

· The ability to self-task and work independently.

· Passion to strive to develop professionally and always be learning.

· Physical fitness and willingness to work in all weather conditions.

· A background in customer service and excellent written and verbal communication.

· A driver’s license and confidence to drive a large van (automatic transmission).

· Availability to work a variety of weekday, weekend and public holiday shifts. Shifts are between 6:30am and 5:30pm.

Casual positions are currently available, with permanent part time and full-time opportunities also available for the right applicants.

If you're looking for a rewarding, hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you! Please submit a resume via Seek, and include a Cover Letter detailing your experience working with dogs or other animals.
