Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Android Architect to lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in native Android development, contemporary Android architecture, Kotlin, Java, and enterprise mobile application design.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive the overall architecture and technical vision for Android applications.
- Design scalable, modular, maintainable, and high-performance Android solutions.
- Lead architecture decisions involving Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and Jetpack components.
- Establish best practices for application development, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Drive implementation of MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, and modular architecture.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Android development teams.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
- Lead code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural assessments.
- Work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, backend teams, and enterprise architects.
- Define CI/CD pipelines,



automated testing strategies, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive engineering improvements.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Native Android Application Development.
- Expertise in Kotlin and Java.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Android platform architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Android Jetpack:
- ViewModel
- LiveData / StateFlow
- Navigation
- Room
- WorkManager
- Jetpack Compose
- Strong understanding of MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
- Experience with modularization and reusable component design.
- Expertise in REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit, and OkHttp.
- Knowledge of Dependency Injection – Dagger / Hilt / Koin.
- Experience with Coroutines, Flow, and multithreading.
- Strong understanding of Android security, performance optimization, and memory management.
- Experience with Git, Gradle, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Required Candidate Profile

- 12–15+ years of overall software development experience.
- Significant hands-on Android development experience.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-grade Android application architecture.
- Experience leading technical teams and driving architecture decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
