About Us
Founded in Australia in 2009 by Jodie Fried and Sally Pottharst, Armadillo is a purpose-led rug brand with a global presence. Today, we have showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Los Angeles, Current York, San Francisco and Dallas.
Every Armadillo rug is handcrafted by skilled artisans, sustaining techniques passed down over generations. Our work is defined by an exacting attention to colour, texture and composition, and by enduring relationships with the artisan communities who bring each piece to life.
A certified B Corp since 2021, we are verified on credible social and environmental business practices. That accountability extends to how we operate, how we partner with clients and suppliers, and how we contribute to the communities around us. We are committed to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI), and to the wellbeing of everyone who works for and with us. These commitments are central to our culture, our collaboration and our decision-making.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an APAC Sales Coordinator to support the growth of our sales function across the region. Reporting to the APAC Regional Director, you will work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to strengthen client relationships and ensure seamless execution.
This is a varied, hands-on role that requires someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive in their approach. Based at our Surry Hills head office and showroom, you’ll be the go-to support for a team partnering with leading architects, designers and trade professionals, helping deliver the exceptional experience our clients expect from Armadillo. You’ll gain broad exposure across sales, marketing, events and operations,
and grow your career alongside a passionate and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the APAC Sales team to achieve sales objectives, coordinating day-to-day sales support and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage quoting, rug samples and returns, and claims, ensuring seamless communication between clients, the sales team and other departments.
- Oversee orders, invoices and payment follow-ups to ensure every transaction runs smoothly.
- Act as the HubSpot lead for the APAC Sales team, maintaining accurate customer records and supporting pipeline administration and CRM best practice.
- Support brand and product presentations and respond to client enquiries in the showroom and beyond.
- Coordinate and deliver industry events alongside the Marketing and Sales teams, from logistics and product loans to on-the-day execution.
- Provide leave cover for Account Managers and support on the showroom floor during busy periods.
- Assist the APAC Regional Director and APAC Marketing Manager with reporting, client and team gifting, and administrative projects.
About You
- Experience in sales support, coordination or administration, ideally within home décor, textiles or interiors.
- A genuine love of organisation, with an eye for detail that keeps databases clean and samples on track.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM, and a belief that good data makes for great sales.
- Confidence juggling competing priorities across multiple people, locations and deadlines without dropping the ball.
- A warm, clear communicator who’s comfortable supporting clients and presenting the brand.
- The initiative to spot where help is needed and step in before being asked.
- A calm, solutions-focused approach and a real team-first attitude.
