About the Role

Blenners Transport are currently seeking expressions of interest for our 2027 Apprenticeship Intake for our Tully Depot - specifically for Apprentice Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanics.

This is a full-time position, with both on and off the job (TAFE) training, resulting in a Certificate III qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, with excellent ongoing career prospects.

To be considered for these positions, you will have completed a minimum of Year 10 of schooling, be keen, a team player, motivated, have a can-do attitude with a genuine interest in the Automotive industry and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Positions will commence in early 2027.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist qualified mechanics with servicing and repairs of heavy commercial vehicles
- Learn fault-finding and diagnostic procedures




- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
- Achieve all requirements of the TAFE Training Plan
- Document all working evidence in your TAFE sign-off book

Role Requirements

- Completed a minimum of Year 10 schooling
- Genuine interest in the automotive and heavy vehicle industry
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, reliable and committed to completing the apprenticeship
