We are a dynamic construction company seeking a motivated Junior Accountant / Accounts Assistant to join our team.

What You Will Do
You will gain hands-on exposure to the full spectrum of corporate accounting, performing tasks including:
- Core Ledger Care: Managing accounts payable and processing month-end journals.
- Reconciliations: Ownership of bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Tax Compliance: Assisting with the preparation and lodgement of BAS returns.
- Financial Reporting: Gaining valuable exposure to Profit & Loss statements, monthly cash flow management, and board reporting.
- Team Support:
Assisting with ad-hoc administrative functions to keep the office running smoothly.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Ideally 1–2+ years of experience working in an accounting or bookkeeping workplace.
- Qualifications: No formal degree is required! A genuine affinity for numbers and a strong baseline understanding of accounting principles are essential.
- Attitude: A proactive learner with sharp attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Eligibility: Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen. We cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role.
