Assistant Accountant wanted for a 6-month role - Perth SOR. Great supportive team commencing late November. Your new company Join a quick-growing not-for-profit organisation based south of the river. Commencing at the end of November and reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will support month-end and transactional accounting activities, including:

Preparing and posting journals, accruals and prepayments

Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations

Maintaining the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules

Preparing month-end work papers

Processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier statements

Assisting with credit card acquittals

Preparing monthly BAS and GST reconciliations for review

Supporting monthly management reporting

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Recent Assistant Accountant or similar accounting experience

Strong month-end, reconciliation and BAS/GST experience





Strong Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems

Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines

Excellent communication skills

Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector would be beneficial
