Esteban is a One-Hatted modern Mexican restaurant located in a beautifully restored heritage printing press building in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

Known for our live-fire cooking over a custom-built parrilla, exceptional Australian produce, and one of the largest Tequila and Mezcal collections in Australia, we pride ourselves on delivering memorable dining experiences through genuine hospitality and attentive service.

As part of the growing Atticus Hospitality group, we are looking for a passionate and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our front-of-house management team.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supervisor or junior Assistant Manager looking to take the next step in their hospitality career.

Working closely with the Venue Manager and an experienced management team, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, supporting the team and maintaining the high service standards Esteban is known for.

We are looking for someone who leads by example, enjoys being on the floor, takes initiative and is eager to learn and develop.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or junior management role within hospitality.

- Current NSW RSA and competency card.

- Good knowledge of wine and spirits; an interest in Tequila and Mezcal is highly regarded.

- Strong communication,



organisational and leadership skills.

- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, premium dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support the front-of-house team during service.

- Assist with the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.

- Oversee nightly financial reconciliation and management reporting.

- Maintain high standards of service, presentation and guest satisfaction.

- Support the training and development of junior team members.

- Work closely with the management team to continuously improve operations.

- Contribute ideas and feedback on service, menus and the overall guest experience.
