Take your first step towards becoming a Financial AdviserOur team is growing, and we're looking for an aspiring financial adviser who is eager to learn, develop and begin building their career in a welcoming, professional and supportive environment.

This is an opportunity for a final-year Financial Planning student or recent graduate who is looking for a genuine pathway into the profession and ultimately wants to become a fully qualified Financial Adviser.

Whether you're ready to commence your Professional Year (PY) or are completing your studies and looking for a role that can transition into your PY, we'd be interested in speaking with you.

The position is available 5 days per week, with permanent part-time or full-time employment available depending on the right candidate. We can offer some flexibility around university commitments.

Your Professional YearYou'll be mentored and supervised directly by our Principal Financial Adviser,



giving you the opportunity to learn from an experienced adviser while progressively developing the skills required to build your own career in advice.

Rather than simply observing from the sidelines, you'll gain practical exposure across the advice process, including:

- Attending and participating in client meetings
- Understanding clients' goals, circumstances and financial position
- Assisting with strategy development
- Researching financial strategies and products
- Preparing advice documentation
- Using financial planning software and CRM systems
- Assisting with the implementation of advice
- Participating in ongoing client reviews
- Developing your understanding of compliance and the regulatory workplace
- Working with superannuation funds, investment platforms, insurers and other providers
- Progressively taking on greater client and adviser responsibilities as your skills develop

Who we're looking forWe're looking for someone who sees financial planning as a career, not simply their next job.

You'll ideally be

- Completing or recently completed an approved Financial Planning degree
- Interested in commencing or progressing towards your Professional Year
- A strong communicator who enjoys working with people
- Curious and genuinely interested in personal finance and financial advice
- Professional,



organised and willing to learn
- Comfortable taking initiative and asking questions
- Someone who wants to be part of a small, ambitious, friendly and supportive team

Previous financial planning experience is an advantage, but we're equally interested in candidates with the right attitude, communication skills and potential. A genuine career pathwayOur goal isn't simply to help you complete your Professional Year.
