Casual Bar Attendant / All-Rounder The Royal Hotel Port Elliot

We're looking for a friendly, energetic and customer-focused team member to join our front-of-house team. This role is primarily based in our front bar, while also supporting restaurant service and food running duties during busy periods.

Key responsibilities:

- Providing exceptional customer service in our front bar and restaurant areas
- Serving beers, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages
- Pouring and serving draught beer (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Food running and assisting restaurant staff to deliver a great guest experience
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of bar and service areas
- Processing orders and operating POS systems
- Working collaboratively with the wider hotel team during busy service periods

About you:

- Friendly, approachable and confident interacting with customers
- Strong customer service focus and a positive attitude
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Interest in food, beverages, local wines and hospitality
- Experience in bar service is preferred but not essential
- Willingness to learn and develop beverage knowledge and service skills




- Reliable, well presented and a team player
- Current RSA or willingness to obtain one before commencing

Availability requirements:

- Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Flexible availability across a rotating roster
- Ability to work during peak holiday and summer trading periods is highly regarded

Pay: $33.05 - $36.00 per hour plus applicable penalties, depending on experience.
