SUMMARY:

- Store: Jack & Co Northwood
- Role: Experienced Barista
- Days: Must be available Monday and Tuesdays from 6am. 14-24 hours per week and additional hours for the right person.
- Pay range: $37-47/hr

Do you love crafting exceptional coffee and providing top-notch customer service? Our Northwood Store is looking for a vibrant and reliable Barista to join our team. If you love the buzz of a busy cafe, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you'll be the face of our coffee service, creating delicious beverages and contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve high-quality barista coffee and other beverages to our customers.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Follow recipe cards and ensure consistency in coffee preparation.
- Manage stock levels and communicate any shortages to the team.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
- Assist with other store tasks as needed, contributing to a smooth and efficient operation including serving on the console.

Desirable:





- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is essential (min 2 years in a fast paced coffee environment 7-10kg/wk).
- A strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for early morning shifts.
- Own reliable transport, and living close to Northwood.
- Fluent in English for customer service.
