Kicco Coffee Roasters is growing, and we are looking for an experienced, motivated and talented Barista to join our team on a full time basis.

We are a growing South Australian hospitality business built around quality coffee, great food and genuine customer experiences. We roast our own coffee locally and take real pride in the products we serve and the people behind them.

Employment Details

- Position: Experienced Barista

- Employment type: Full time

- Hours: 38 hours per week

- Location: Kicco Marion

- Availability: Seven day availability essential, including weekends and public holidays as required.

- Remuneration: Competitive, based on experience and capability.

What we are looking for

We want someone who brings energy, initiative and a genuine passion for their craft.

- Previous experience as a barista in a busy café environment.

- Strong technical coffee skills, including espresso extraction, grinder calibration and milk texturing.

- A genuine appreciation for quality coffee and an interest in learning more about the coffee and roasting industry.

- The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

- A strong work ethic and the initiative to identify what needs doing without waiting to be asked.

- Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with customers.





- High standards when it comes to presentation, cleanliness and attention to detail.

- A positive attitude and the ability to remain composed during busy service periods.

- Reliability, accountability and a willingness to contribute to the wider team's success.

What you will be doing

- Preparing consistently exceptional coffee using our locally roasted Kicco blends.

- Taking ownership of coffee quality, including dialling in, extraction and consistency.

- Delivering outstanding customer service and building relationships with regular customers.

- Maintaining a clean, organised and well presented coffee station.

- Looking after coffee equipment and ensuring it is properly cleaned and maintained.

- Supporting and sharing coffee knowledge with other team members.

- Working collaboratively across all areas of café operations to keep service running smoothly.

- Contributing ideas, taking initiative and helping us continually improve.
