About the role

Brow obsessive? Lash lift perfectionist? Weirdly good at making a body wax feel like no big deal?

Chakra Intelligent Skin is looking for a part-time Beauty Therapist/Grooming Specialist to join our Balwyn North team. You’ll work 3 days a week (approximately 25 hours), doing beautiful work and getting to know clients who’ll keep coming back for you.

What you’ll be doing

- Sculpting brows, lifting lashes, and taking the fear out of body waxing

- Delivering beautiful, consistent results with professional techniques and products

- Helping clients choose the right products and aftercare, with advice and no hard sell

- Building the kind of relationships that keep clients rebooking

- Keeping the clinic clean, calm, and welcoming, in line with health and safety requirements

- Staying curious about new techniques, treatments, and industry trends

- Being part of a team that genuinely has each other’s backs

What we’re looking for

- A Diploma of Beauty Therapy or Certificate IV (required)

- At least 2 years’ experience as a beauty therapist or grooming specialist

- Excellent skills in brows, lash lifts, and body waxing





- Manicure and pedicure experience (a bonus, not a dealbreaker)

- A warm, attentive manner that puts clients at ease
- A polished, professional presentation

- Outstanding communication skills and a real interest in what each client needs

- High standards of hygiene and safety, and a sharp eye for detail
- The confidence to manage your own clients and the heart of a team player
