Reporting to the General Manager, you'll manage two beachfront buildings in Coolangatta that combine residential apartments with a holiday letting pool. You'll be responsible for keeping both buildings in top condition as a hands-on Building Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure Body Corporate caretaking tasks are completed for both buildings, including inspections, compliance (fire and pools) and managing contractors
- Keep the Committee informed on all building related matters
- Ensure the letting pool apartments are well maintained and presented
- Lead the maintenance and cleaning team
- Oversee security, by-law compliance and contractor sign-in
- Act as the go-to person for owners and committees,
and step in for the GM when they're away
About you
- Highly experienced in building management in Community Titles Schemes
- Background in high-rise plumbing, fire, pool and electrical systems
- Handy with tools and happy to do routine repairs yourself
- Proven experience leading people
- Organised, a transparent communicator, and someone who takes ownership
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office
- Driver's licence and your own mobile phone required
- Bonus points for experience in the building industry or a trade qualification
