A high-profile Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of critical ICT projects and business improvement initiatives. You will work across business process analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and Agile delivery, helping design and implement technology solutions that improve business operations and deliver measurable outcomes. The successful Business Analyst will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to be extended, based in Canberra (ACT), with onsite working arrangements.

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Investigate and analyse complex business processes, systems and operational requirements to identify improvement opportunities.

- Gather, define and document business requirements, functional specifications and acceptance criteria for ICT solutions.

- Conduct root cause analysis, business process reviews and benefits assessments to support effective decision-making.





- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Project Managers, Solution Architects and development teams to deliver business and technology outcomes.

The successful Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

- A minimum of 3 years' Business Analyst experience for Level 4 roles or 5 years for Level 5 roles.

- Business situation analysis, requirements elicitation, process improvement and root cause analysis.

- Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies, including requirements documentation and solution specifications.

- Stakeholder engagement, business analysis techniques and development of acceptance criteria.
