Profectus is seeking experienced Business Analysts or Product Analysts to support a registry modernisation program within an Australian Government agency. You will work in cross-functional teams with product managers, designers and engineers to define requirements and refine the product backlog. The work covers requirements elicitation, user stories and acceptance criteria, process mapping, traceability and UAT support.

Key Responsibilities

- Support requirements elicitation, documentation and refinement
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria
- Refine the product backlog with product managers
- Map current and future-state processes
- Maintain requirements traceability
- Support testing and UAT
- Share artefacts and methods with agency analysts
- Take part in the BA community of practice

Required Experience

- 3+ years in business analysis
- Requirements elicitation and documentation
- Process modelling
- Writing user stories and acceptance criteria




- Working in agile teams
- Explicit written and verbal communication

Desirable Experience

- Government or regulated-sector experience
- Azure DevOps or Jira
- Technology modernisation or CRM projects
- IIBA ECBA or CCBA

Security Clearance Requirements

- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must have a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (minimum)

Working Arrangements

- Onsite at client premises
- Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane or Traralgon (VIC)
