We are looking for a Business Operation & Data Solution Analyst based in St Marys NSW to implement the development, enhancement and utilisation of data-driven solutions specific to the AG Commercial and Parts businesses.

To strive towards best-in-class both day-to-day operational reporting of performance (both internally and externally) and further to higher level business reporting & evaluation.

What You'll Do

Analysis and Reporting:

- Ownership of the data (both quantitative and qualitative), analytics, and reporting to empower business segments to build strategies.
- Ensure data integrity across all performance-based metrics, tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with the AG commercial and Parts organizations to coordinate and manage multiple complex data sources and deliver BI tools to support the business using standardized methodologies, definitions, processes and technologies.
- Work closely with stakeholders at all levels and cross functional departments to identify and prioritize ongoing technology and process improvements as well as supporting projects, needs assessments, technology platform implementations.
- Work with a variety of tools and databases to extract relevant information for business metrics models. These include understanding reporting goals and establishing priorities to ensure all routine and ad hoc reports to management are delivered in a high quality and timely manner.
- Interpret and communicate information in a manner that can be comprehended by non-analytical audience.
- Provide training in the use of any / all platforms deployed in the communication of dissemination of reports.
- Provide analysis of performance of the business, determining reasons for gap between plan and actual, while flagging trends and issues where relevant.
- Ensure the availability of accurate, timely and relevant analysis of operational results. Improve existing BI applications regarding data flow and quality to enhance the value of business reporting to management.




- Drive the development of tools to digitalize the Sales Management Process: communicate targets, capture opportunities and track progress vs. actuals and opportunities – CRM.

Relationship & Organisational Management:

- Work closely with the Commercial Services, Product & Portfolio Management and finance teams to ensure alignment and timely activities
- Maintain open engagement with sales channels and dealer network to ensure pricing is positioned to maximise potential
- Develop relationships with international teams to deliver best practice for pricing strategies, systems, tools and reporting.
- Maintain a professional and strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders

About You

- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Statistics and/or Accounting
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Robust interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
- Strong analytical skills
- Superior attention to detail
- 5 years’ experience in the capital goods (equipment) or components industry would be strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and multi-segment business environment, and readily adaptable to changing market, business, and organizational needs
