Kabul Social is our Afghan quick service restaurant, serving signature wraps, fresh salads and authentic rice dishes. We celebrate Afghan food, culture and hospitality while helping people from diverse backgrounds build skills, confidence and careers.

About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, proactive Cafe Supervisor to help lead the daily operations of Kabul Social.

This is a hands-on role combining warm hospitality with fast, efficient service. You’ll support the team, keep orders moving and ensure the restaurant is welcoming, well presented and ready for a busy trading day.

It’s a great opportunity for an experienced supervisor or a confident hospitality professional ready to step into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver warm, efficient customer service and help customers discover our menu.

- Supervise daily service, coordinate tasks and support a positive, collaborative team.

- Prepare the restaurant for opening and maintain cleanliness, presentation and service standards throughout the day.

- Process orders and payments through the point of sale, ensuring accuracy and timely service.

- Coordinate takeaway and delivery platform orders with the kitchen and delivery partners.

- Organise catering orders and deliver to local partners within walking distance.





- Assist with simple food preparation, cooking and presentation.

- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.

- Complete daily administration and use digital systems confidently.

- Identify opportunities to improve service, build customer relationships and grow sales.

About You

You enjoy working with people, take initiative and stay organised when service gets busy.

You’ll bring

- Experience in hospitality, quick service restaurants or a similar customer-facing workplace.

- Previous supervisory experience, or the confidence and willingness to lead.

- Clear verbal and written English communication skills.

- Strong organisational skills and confidence using computers and POS systems.

- A friendly, approachable manner and a practical attitude.

- The ability to work independently and support a culturally diverse team.

- An interest in Afghan food, culture and community.

Dari language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
