MD Group are looking for all rounded qualified carpenters for various ongoing work mainly based on the Gold Coast.
About the role
You'll be working various jobs throughout commercial and residential jobs. Main position that needs filling is our townhouses - timber framing, fitout, second fix. We also require carpenters who are skilled within maintenance of residential propertys, who can be called out to perform rectifications without problems, ongoing work on that one as well.
What you'll be doing
- First and second fix carpentry
- Installing joinery, shopfronts, partitions, ceilings and fit-out fixtures
- Metal stud framing
- Timer framing
- Working to tight programs and after-hours/centre-management access windows where required
- Reading and working from plans specifications
- Working safely alongside other trades and site supervisors
What we're looking for
- Trade qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent) and shopfitting/fitout experience
- Current White Card (essential)
- Own tools and reliable transport
- Comfortable working to commercial fitout programs and finish standards
- Reliable, punctual, and a robust eye for detail and quality finish
