About the role

As a Casual Educator at Charley's Place, you will play an important role in creating meaningful learning experiences for children, building relationships, delivering high-quality educational programs, providing a safe and nurturing environments for all children, and ensuring all children feel valued, supported and empowered to thrive.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain active supervision at all times
- Creating safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environments that encourage exploration, creativity and social interaction
- Building positive relationships with children and families, fostering trust and open communication
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent and cohesive approaches to childcare and education
- Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and helping them develop social skills and resilience
- Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and policies and procedures
- Be available to work between our two North Brisbane Services - Bald Hills and Alderley

About you

- A relevant Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) qualification, such as a Certificate 111, Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent recognised qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues




- A strong commitment to creating inclusive environments that respect and celebrate diversity
- Sound organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed records
- Sound understanding of the EYLF, Child Safe Standards, NQF, and Regulation & Law
