Casual Position | Approximately 15–20 Hours Per Week | Immediate Start

Launceston Holiday Park in Legana is seeking an experienced, reliable and hardworking Casual Housekeeper to join our team for an immediate start.

We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and understands the importance of presenting clean, comfortable and welcoming accommodation to every guest.

This position offers flexible casual hours, with the added benefit of optional on-site accommodation for those who require it.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Cleaning and preparing cabins to a high standard between guest stays.
- Changing linen and making beds to a professional standard.
- Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living areas.
- Restocking toiletries, linen and guest supplies.
- Ensuring cabins are clean, properly presented and ready before guest arrivals.
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues, damage or cleaning concerns.
- Assisting with laundry and general housekeeping duties.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the holiday park.
- Working efficiently to ensure cabins are ready by required check-in times.

Hours and Employment

- Casual employment.
- Approximately 15–20 hours per week, depending on occupancy and operational requirements.
- Hours may vary from week to week.
- Additional hours may be available during busy periods.
- Weekend and public holiday availability may be required.




- Immediate start available.
- Casual wages and applicable penalty rates paid in accordance with the relevant award.

For applicants interested in accommodation, we have an on-site housing option available.
- Shared four-bedroom house located within Launceston Holiday Park.
- Rent: $300 per week.
- Conveniently located within the holiday park.
- Accommodation is entirely optional and is not a requirement of employment.

About You

To be considered for this position, you should:

- Have previous housekeeping, hotel, motel, holiday park or commercial cleaning experience.
- Have excellent attention to detail and take pride in your work.
- Be reliable, honest, punctual and hardworking.
- Be confident working independently without constant supervision.
- Be experienced in making beds and preparing accommodation to a professional standard.
- Understand the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and guest satisfaction.
- Work efficiently without compromising cleaning quality.
- Be physically capable of performing regular housekeeping duties.
- Have flexible availability, including some weekends.
- Be able to identify and communicate maintenance or cleaning concerns to management.
