We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Practice Nurse to join our supportive general practice team on a casual basis. This role offers excellent work-life balance, specifically covering Thursdays and Fridays. As a multi-site practice, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to travel between our Seville Grove and Shoalwater clinics based on roster requirements and operational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Delivery of patient-centered care
- Chronic disease management plans and health assessments
- Childhood and adult routine immunisations
- Wound care management
- Clinical procedures including ECGs, spirometry, and ear syringing
- Assisting general practitioners with minor procedures
- Infection control management and sterilization processes
- Cold chain monitoring and vaccine management
About you
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
or Enrolled Nurse (EN) with AHPRA
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience working as a Practice Nurse within an Australian general practice setting
- Strong clinical knowledge in chronic disease management and immunisation schedules
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, friendly manner
- Competency in using Best Practice clinical software
- Current CPR certification
- Valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle, with willingness to travel between Seville Grove and Shoalwater as required
