Childcare Cook - bring your passion for cooking into a nurturing early learning environment!

We’re seeking a warm, reliable and experienced Cook to join our team at Charley’s Place Bernoth Centre, preparing nutritious and delicious meals for children aged 6 weeks - 5 years.

Charley’s Place Bernoth Centre is a newly renovated early learning centre with a modern kitchen and facilities.

What You’ll Do:

- Prepare and serve healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks

- Ensure meals meet allergy, cultural and dietary needs

- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety standards

- Plan weekly menus aligned with nutrition guidelines

- Work closely with the Centre Director and Educators to support children’s wellbeing

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience cooking in a childcare, school, or aged care setting





- Knowledge of allergy-safe food preparation and handling

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- A genuine love for creating meals that children enjoy

- Organised, dependable, and able to work independently
