Civil Equipment Operators (Level 1 & Level 2)

Casual Opportunities | Competitive Rates | Immediate & Upcoming Projects Whitehouse Group Qld Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Civil Equipment Operators to join our growing project teams across Rockhampton, Blackwater, and various locations throughout the Bowen Basin. We have multiple opportunities available across major civil construction, urban development, and mine-site civil works projects.

Whether you're looking to contribute to a landmark regional development project in Rockhampton or work on mine-site civil projects within the Bowen Basin, we want to hear from skilled operators who are committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Level 1 Operators

Experience operating one or more of the following (multiskilled operators preferred):

- HR/HC/MC Truck/Water Truck
- Loader
- Roller
- Moxy

Level 2 Operators: Experience operating one or more of the following (multiskilled operators preferred):
- Excavators (up to 50T)
- Graders
- Dozers
- GPS machine control and final trim experience will be highly regarded.

Current Project Opportunities

1. Rockhampton Civil Development Works

Join a major urban development and civil construction project helping shape Rockhampton's future community infrastructure, located in North Rockhampton.

Project Details:

- Casual employment
- Approximately 8-month project duration, with opportunities extending through mid-2027
- Be home with your family every night & have every weekend off!
- Monday to Friday dayshift roster; 11-hour shifts
- Bulk earthworks and detailed earthworks activities
- Local applicants only
- No FIFO arranagements




- No camp accommodation available

2. Blackwater & Bowen Basin Mine Site Civil Works

Work across a variety of mine-site civil construction projects throughout Blackwater and the Bowen Basin.

Project Details:

- Casual employment
- 7/7 dayshift-only roster; 12-hour shifts
- Local or DIDO applicants welcome

- Camp accommodation available

- No FIFO arrangements

What We're Looking For

To be successful, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience operating civil construction equipment in earthworks, construction, mining, and/or infrastructure environments
- Experience in bulk earthworks, cut-to-fill operations and/or detailed earthworks highly regarded
- RII competencies and/or relevant operating qualifications for plant operated
- Current open driver's licence (HR/HC/MC licence advantageous)
- Current Construction Industry White Card (or ability to obtain)
- Robust commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks as required

For Bowen Basin mine-site opportunities, the following are also required:
- Current Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical




- Experience performing civil works within a mining environment will be highly regarded
