Due to growth in our workload, we are seeking experienced Civil Site Supervisors to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and successful delivery of our civil construction projects throughout South Australia.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to an experienced civil construction professional who knows how to run a site, manage crews and keep projects moving efficiently.

Working closely with our Project Managers, Engineers and construction teams, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily site activities, managing resources and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and to the required standards.

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of their site, make practical decisions, solve problems and lead by example without needing constant direction.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily site operations across subdivisions, roadworks, bulk earthworks and civil infrastructure projects.

- Lead and manage construction crews, plant operators, subcontractors and other site personnel.

- Plan and coordinate daily works, labour, plant, equipment and materials to meet project requirements.

- Monitor site productivity, progress and performance against project programs and budgets.

- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

- Maintain a strong focus on workplace health, safety and environmental compliance.

- Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and daily site briefings.





- Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays and maintain productivity.

- Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers regarding site progress, variations and resource requirements.

- Oversee site inspections, quality control and completion of relevant site documentation.

- Maintain accurate daily records, including labour, plant, materials and work completed.

- Build positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders.

About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or leading hand in civil construction.

- Strong experience in land subdivisions, road construction, bulk earthworks and associated civil infrastructure.

- Sound knowledge of civil construction methods, sequencing, drainage, services and earthworks.

- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.

- Demonstrated experience managing crews, subcontractors, plant and daily site activities.

- A strong understanding of site productivity, project programs and cost control.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make confident decisions on-site.

- Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.

- A practical, hands-on approach with a commitment to safety and quality.

- Current driver's licence and White Card.

- Relevant plant tickets, civil construction qualifications or supervisory training will be highly regarded.
