This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience operating CNC machinery, interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing precision components for custom-built and bespoke projects.

Working with a range of fabrication equipment, you will be responsible for setting up, programming and operating machinery to produce quality sheet metal components to specification.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, program and operate CNC machinery to manufacture components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

- Operate fabrication equipment, including laser cutting machines, press brakes, guillotines, sheet metal folders and other CNC machinery.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications and measurements.

- Fold, form and shape steel and aluminium components.

- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and product quality.

- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.

- Identify opportunities to improve existing designs, production methods and manufacturing processes.

- Maintain accurate production records and machine logs.





- Work collaboratively with the manufacturing team to meet production deadlines.

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working workplace.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing or sheet metal environment.

- Experience setting up and programming CNC machines.

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

- Experience with press brakes, laser and plasma cutting equipment, guillotines and sheet metal folders.

- Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication, folding and forming processes.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
