Our client is a well-established Brisbane financial services business looking for a motivated Collections Officer to join their close-knit, high-performing team.
Reporting to an experienced Collections Manager, you’ll manage your own portfolio of accounts, speak directly with customers and work with them to achieve practical repayment outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage an active portfolio of accounts across the collections lifecycle
- Speak with customers by phone and in writing to negotiate appropriate repayment arrangements
- Understand individual customer circumstances and use sound judgement to achieve fair and practical outcomes
- Maintain accurate and compliant records of customer interactions and account activity
- Work towards transparent daily and weekly performance targets as part of a supportive team
About You You may already have experience in collections, credit or financial services, or you may come from a customer-facing environment where you’ve developed confidence handling challenging or sensitive conversations.
You’ll ideally be:
- A confident and professional communicator who is comfortable on the phone
- Resilient, self-motivated and comfortable working towards targets
- Reliable and organised, with strong attention to detail
- Someone who takes ownership, follows through and enjoys getting results
