Mamamia

Sydney

Mamamia exists to help women feel seen, heard and understood. That's why seven and a half million Australian women turn to us every month, across written, video and social, making us the country's largest independent women's media group. And the conversation doesn't stop there: over the years we've produced more than 60 podcasts, building the world's largest women's podcast network.

About The Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Commercial Video and Audio Producer to bring our brand partnerships to life across the Mamamia podcast network. In this Sydney studio-based role, you will be the creative engine recording, shooting, editing, and delivering high-quality commercial audio and video assets, including run-of-network ads, bespoke paid partnerships, and video ads. As our commercial content expands rapidly into video, you will take approved scripts and turn them into broadcast-ready, engaging content that sounds and looks just as brilliant as our hit shows.

You will collaborate closely with our talented team, maintain technical excellence, and ensure our brand partners and audience receive an exceptional experience every time.

Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:

- Record voiceovers with our internal and retained talent in the studio, directing reads so they land with warmth, perfect timing, and brand-aligned tone.
- Edit, mix, and master all commercial audio to network loudness standards and export specifications, including binaural and specialist audio formats.
- Own video ads end-to-end, from setting up studio cameras, lighting, and sound, to shooting, editing, and delivering polished platform cuts.
- Manage a steady, fast-paced turnaround of daily video assets and help shape video versions of our commercial partnerships.
- Manage recording and delivery milestones across our Monday.com workflow boards to keep projects running smoothly and on schedule.

- Maintain network mastering standards and archive all project sessions, raw footage, and final assets with care.
- Provide production cover for our daily flagship podcast, The Quicky, and support fellow producers with show edits and studio maintenance.

Now, a Bit About You

- You bring 3+ years of hands-on experience in audio and video production across podcasting, radio, commercial advertising, or branded content.
- You are proficient with Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent video editing software).
- You have solid practical experience with studio lighting, camera operation, and studio sound setup, backed by a portfolio of work you are proud of.
- You are confident directing voice talent in the booth and producing fast-turnaround daily podcast content to fixed deadlines.
- You possess a strong technical understanding of loudness standards, mixing, mastering, and multi-platform social video export specs.
- You are highly organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple client deliverables simultaneously.
- You are an open, collaborative communicator who speaks up early when things need adjusting and thrives in a supportive team culture.
