Horizon West Landscape and Irrigation Pty Ltd is a young and growing business that specialises in Commercial Landscape Construction, Maintenance, Irrigation installation and service.

We are seeking a full time Irrigation crew member to join our team. This role will be required to work Monday to Friday with early starts required and responsible for the following:

- Undertake activities such as but not limited to reticulation servicing and troubleshooting, installing irrigation systems, general landscaping tasks as detailed within company work instructions and procedures;

- Work safely and productively in various weather types not limited to high winds, extremes of heat and cold or rainfall;

- Operate light landscape maintenance equipment including hand tools and motorised equipment not limited to trench digger, reciprocating saw, turf cutter and angle grinder in accordance with specified training and manufacturers operation manuals;

- Ensure the jobsite is clean and safe at start and end of each day;

- Maintain all site safety signage, barriers and other site control measures in a transparent visible and upright position at all times;

- Responsible for ensuring safe and secure management of all equipment, tools, vehicles and mobile devices;

- Provide routine basic maintenance on tools and equipment, and maintain high standards of vehicles cleanliness;

- Management of water usage on client sites;

- Maintain accurate Irrigation records for invoicing and end of month bore readings for clients;

- Follow all safety policies, procedures,



job practices and PPE as required;

- Conduct and complete Daily and Weekly Prestart Inspections;

- Carry out other general labour duties as assigned.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

Mandatory:

- Experience in Irrigation installation, maintenance and repairs experience Minimum 2yrs;

- Current WA Drivers Licence C Class;

- WA Construction Safety Awareness – White Card;

- National Police Clearance;

- Australian permanent resident;

- Ability to work independently managing own scheduling in accordance with the companys requirements;

- Excellent time management skills;

- High level of commitment to safe work practices;

- Ability to multi task and adapt to different environments;

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment and on-going fitness for work medicals.

Desirable:

- Irrigation qualifications e.g. (Certificate III in Irrigation Technology);

- Current First Aid Certificate.
