Experienced Concrete Cutting Operator

Qld Concrete Drilling & Sawing (QCDS) is seeking an experienced Concrete Cutting Operator to join our long-established team servicing projects across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich and the Sunshine Coast. Please note: This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have previous hands-on experience working as a Concrete Cutting Operator for a concrete cutting and drilling company.

About the role

As a Concrete Cutting Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of specialist concrete cutting and drilling tasks,



including:

- Customer Service
- Core drilling, including large-diameter and inverted drilling
- Hand sawing, ring sawing and chain sawing
- Soff-Cut early-entry sawing
- Floor and road sawing up to 700mm depth
- GPR concrete scanning and locating
- Track-mounted wall sawing
- Wire sawing
- Robotic demolition
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- Following site safety procedures and OH&S; requirements
- Providing qualified customer service on site
- Working closely with clients, site personnel and team members to ensure successful project delivery

What we’re looking for

Essential:

- Minimum 12 months’ experience employed as a Concrete Cutting Operator
- Full Australian working rights
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current driver’s licence
- Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
- Professional attitude with strong customer service skills
- Reliable and able to represent QCDS professionally on site
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Yellow Card
- Confined Space Ticket
- Working at Heights
- Forklift ticket
- RIW Card
- Additional industry qualifications and licences
- Persons with other trade qualifications
- Australian Defence Force (ADF) experience
