Omnicom Earned Group are looking for a Consumer Executive to join their Sydney team, commencing in 2027

ABOUT ELEVEN, FLEISHMANHILLARD & WEBER SHANDWICK

Eleven, FleishmanHillard and Weber Shandwick are part of the Omnicom Oceania earned media centre of excellence - three agency teams with different strengths, united by a belief in the power of ideas, stories and culture to make a meaningful impact.

This role works across the three, co-located agency brands.

Eleven is one of ANZ's most awarded agencies, with work recognised across leading creative and communications awards.

FleishmanHillard and Weber Shandwick are part of global agency networks. That brings the opportunity to learn from colleagues around the world, draw on international perspectives and specialist expertise, and collaborate on ideas that can travel across markets.

As part of Omnicom Oceania, we bring together different disciplines and capabilities—from PR, social and creators to creative, media and production—to help brands engage people in relevant, surprising and memorable ways.

For an early-career Executive, this means a chance to work across agency teams, see how creative ideas take shape and grow your skills in a lively, collaborative environment.

THE OPPORTUNITY An energetic, curious starter who loves culture, gets excited by a great idea and wants to make brands part of the conversation.

This is an entry-level role for someone who is excited by consumer brands and how they show up in people's lives. You'll help create and deliver B2C communications that capture attention, spark participation and give people a reason to talk, share or get involved.

You'll support a mix of consumer campaigns and day-to-day account work—from spotting cultural moments and helping shape ideas to coordinating media, creators, content and experiences. You'll learn by doing, with guidance from an experienced team.

Bring enthusiasm, initiative, curiosity and a willingness to pitch in; we'll help you build the craft.

A communications qualification or similar is required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Consumer insight and creative ideas

- Stay curious about what people are talking about, watching, buying and sharing—and bring useful cultural observations to the team.
- Research brands, products, audiences,

competitors and category trends to help shape consumer campaigns and new business ideas.
- Help spot timely moments, tensions and behaviours that could give a brand a relevant role in the conversation.
- Contribute ideas that are imaginative, audience-first and grounded in a clear reason for people to care.
- Campaign and content coordination
- Support the planning and delivery of consumer campaigns across earned media, social, creators, partnerships, events and other relevant channels.
- Assist with creating and polishing campaign materials, including media releases, pitches, briefing notes, creator briefs, content and presentations.
- Help identify suitable media, creators and partners, and support outreach and follow-up with guidance from the team.
- Coordinate campaign details such as samples, product information, assets, approvals, timings and supplier requirements.
- Help track coverage, social conversation and campaign activity, keeping reports and project records accurate and up to date.
- Account and team support
- Provide reliable administration and project support across multiple clients and workstreams.
- Keep tasks, timelines and details organised, and deliver work carefully and on time.
- Work with suppliers and collaborators, including photographers, production partners, venues and media contacts.
- Contribute to brainstorms, team meetings and client work with energy, openness and a willingness to have a go.
- Communicate early when priorities shift, ask questions when you need context and follow through on agreed actions.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- A genuine interest in consumer brands, culture, entertainment, lifestyle and what captures people's attention.
- Curiosity about why people connect with ideas—and an instinct for stories, experiences or conversations they might want to be part of.
- Energy, enthusiasm and a positive, can-do approach. You're ready to get involved, contribute and keep momentum up.
- Solid writing and communication skills, with care for detail and accuracy.

- An organised approach and the ability to juggle different tasks, deadlines and changing priorities.
- Initiative and resourcefulness: you're happy to take a first step, seek context and ask for feedback.
- A collaborative attitude and confidence working with people from different teams and disciplines.
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback on board and build your skills through hands-on experience.
- Previous PR, communications, social or marketing experience—through an internship, placement or entry-level role—is welcome, but a strong interest in consumer communications and a willingness to learn are just as important.

YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF...

You bring enthusiasm to the work, enjoy bouncing ideas around and are excited by the possibility of making something people notice. You can keep track of the details while staying open to new thinking, and you're generous with your energy as part of a team. You're keen to learn how a good consumer idea moves from an early spark to a campaign people can experience and talk about.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

You'll join a friendly, ambitious team that values curiosity, collaboration and creative thinking. You'll have opportunities to learn from different teams and disciplines, build your confidence through hands-on work and see how ideas are developed for different brands and audiences.

Through our global networks, you can also gain exposure to international perspectives and expertise, and learn from work happening in other markets. The scale of Omnicom Oceania creates further opportunities to collaborate with specialists across the wider communications and marketing mix.

Benefits include

- Flexible working arrangements.
- Professional development programmes and access to learning resources.
- Paid annual leave, personal leave and public holidays.
- Wellbeing initiatives, including mental health support.
- Parental leave and family-friendly policies.
- Cultural and social events that help build connection and creativity.
- Potential mobility opportunities within the network.
- A collaborative, inclusive and creatively ambitious workplace culture.

Ready to get involved?

If you love culture, bring energy to a team and want to help create consumer work people want to engage with, we'd love to hear from you.
