We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Manager to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of cleaning services across our client sites in and around Melbourne CBD.

About the Role

As a Contract Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring cleaning services are consistently delivered to the highest standards.

You will be responsible for leading and supporting operational teams, managing contract performance and driving continuous improvement across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily cleaning operations across allocated sites, ensuring service delivery meets contractual requirements, cleaning specifications and company standards.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, responding to concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Monitor service delivery,



manage contractual KPIs and implement improvements to maintain operational excellence.

- Lead, coach and support supervisors and cleaning teams, fostering a positive, accountable and high-performing workplace culture.

- Oversee staffing requirements, attendance and rostering arrangements to ensure operational continuity and appropriate site coverage.

- Work collaboratively with senior management to develop, monitor and manage operational budgets, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost control.

- Ensure employees receive appropriate training, guidance and ongoing support to perform their duties effectively.

- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and operational procedures.

- Monitor the performance of subcontracted services, including waste management and window cleaning, to ensure contractual and quality standards are maintained.

About You

We are looking for a confident, solutions-focused professional who brings strong leadership capabilities, operational expertise and a genuine commitment to customer service.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:





- Minimum 10 years previous experience in a Contract Manager or similar operational management role within the commercial cleaning industry.

- Solid knowledge of cleaning operations, service specifications and quality standards.

- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams across multiple sites.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

- A customer-focused approach with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

- Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience managing operational budgets, contract performance and KPIs.

- The ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to operational challenges.

- A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements

- Full working rights in Australia.

- A current National Police Check.

- Minimum 10 years experience
