Overview

We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to support automation and control systems across mining and mineral processing projects in Western Australia.

This contract opportunity will suit an engineer with strong hands-on experience in Rockwell Studio 5000 and Citect SCADA, capable of contributing to control system design, programming, commissioning and ongoing project delivery.

Responsibilities

- Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA systems.

- Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs using Studio 5000.

- Configure and maintain Citect SCADA systems.

- Support control system design, testing and commissioning.

- Assist with upgrades, modifications and troubleshooting of existing plant control systems.

- Collaborate with electrical, instrumentation and project teams to deliver automation solutions.

Candidate Experience





- Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Control Systems or Mechatronics Engineering.

- 3–5 years' experience in control systems engineering within mining, mineral processing or heavy industry.

- Robust hands-on experience with Rockwell Studio 5000 and Citect SCADA.

- Experience with PLC programming, SCADA configuration and industrial automation.

- Exposure to commissioning, troubleshooting and brownfield plant upgrades.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Contract Details

- Perth-based opportunity, with site exposure.

- Initial contract with the possibility of extension.
