About the role

As a Cook, you’ll support the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, preparing and cooking quality food while maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety. Key responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items to required standards
- Complete food preparation for service
- Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements
- Keep kitchen areas clean, organised and ready for service
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and broader hotel team
- Assist with stock and ingredient management where required

What you’ll bring

- Previous cooking experience in a commercial kitchen
- Sound food preparation and cooking skills
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Ability to work effectively during busy service periods
- Reliability, attention to detail and a collaborative approach
