About the Role

We are seeking a Cook to join our team on a Part-Time Basis!

Shift Times: 11:00am to 7:00pm Thursday to Monday (Weekly)

You will be based at our Darley House located at 24-26 Darley Street Mona Vale NSW 2103.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare nutritious and appetising meals to meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences.

- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.

- Keep kitchen and food preparation areas clean, safe and organised.

- Maintain accurate food safety and dietary records.

- Support catering staff with their assigned duties

- Provide respectful, compassionate and person-centred service to residents.

- Work collaboratively with the kitchen,



catering and care teams and support continuous improvement.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Police Check (National Police Certificate) (Essential)

- At least 2 years experience as a Cook (Desirable)

- Previous aged care experience (Desirable)

- Has a passion for creating healthy, delicious, and visually appealing meals

- Is organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene

- Knowledge of infection control procedures

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work well with staff
