The Opportunity

Fyfe's Energy & Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects across Australia. Our work spans upstream flowlines and leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major gas transmission pipelines, above-ground oil and gas processing facilities, and integrity, maintenance and construction-related work programs. We're looking for an experienced Cost Controller to join our operations maintenance team in Brisbane on a contract basis. You'll provide specialised cost and financial support, helping the team maintain strong financial control, visibility and reporting across multiple projects.

The Impact You'll Have

- Drive effective cost control across multiple projects within a broad operations and maintenance portfolio.
- Manage cost controls through Ares Prism G2, using the Cost Control module to maintain accurate and useful project information.
- Support financial and cost management through SAP, bringing a sound understanding of finance and cost management tools.
- Deliver monthly cost reporting and dashboards that give teams clear visibility of project financial performance.
- Strengthen Opex and Capex cost management, applying sound commercial fundamentals across project activities.
- Support effective project controls for small projects, helping teams maintain financial discipline and informed decision-making.





What You'll Bring

You'll bring established cost control experience, strong financial capability and the confidence to work across multiple projects and priorities.
- 5+ years' experience as a Cost Controller.
- Experience managing the Ares Prism G2 Cost Control module.
- A sound understanding of SAP Finance and cost management tools.
- A Finance or Commerce degree, or significant relevant experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work confidently with financial and project data.
- A sound understanding of Opex and Capex cost management fundamentals, together with project management and project controls for small projects.
- A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality of work.
