Join our Council Operations team and play a hands-on role in maintaining and improving community assets and public spaces. As a Council Operations Officer, you will contribute to the upkeep of parks, gardens, recreational facilities, waste management services, and minor civil works that support the daily needs of the community.

What your day will look like, but are not limited to:

- Perform grounds maintenance in Community and minor road works.
- Whipper snipping and mowing operations.
- Maintain all equipment and plant used in a safe, clean and serviceable condition.
- Maintain a safe working workplace and ensure WHS regulations are adhered to.

The Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for a reliable and motivated team player who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering high-quality services to the community. You will have a practical, hands-on approach, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Must be a local community member.

Other Requirements

- White Card (or ability to obtain).
- First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain).
- Criminal History Check (issued within the last 3 months).
- Current Working with Children’s Clearance (Ochre Card).
- Valid unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
