About the Role

Skyline Hire is seeking a General Manager to lead crane operations, support operational planning, manage crews, drive safe project delivery and help strengthen business performance across the Pilbara. This is a senior operational role suited to a practical leader with strong crane, lifting, site and client management experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate crane operations across yard, site and project activities
- Support safe, efficient and compliant delivery of crane hire and lifting works
- Manage supervisors, crane operators, riggers and operational personnel as required
- Assist with resource planning, scheduling, mobilisation and operational readiness
- Work closely with clients, project teams and internal stakeholders
- Support lift planning, risk management and operational decision-making
- Monitor operational performance, utilisation, safety, quality and productivity
- Assist with incident management, corrective actions and continuous improvement
- Support the Crane Manager with business planning, reporting and team leadership

Skills and Experience

- Strong operational leadership experience in crane hire, lifting,



construction, mining or heavy industry
- Sound understanding of crane operations, rigging, lift planning and high-risk work controls
- Proven ability to manage crews, schedules, clients and operational priorities
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to support efficient resource utilisation
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Ability to meet site access and mobilisation requirements

Desirable

- High Risk Work Licences relevant to crane, dogging or rigging operations
- Previous Pilbara, FIFO or remote operations experience
- Experience managing shutdown, maintenance or major project crane works
