The Services Engineer

Finding a Services Engineer with experience on complex $30M-plus projects in South Australia is challenging at the best of times. You know you’re as rare as hen’s teeth, and reaching the expert level where you can cover all facets is even rarer.

We’re looking for someone to lead engineering installations and commissioning,



ensuring every technical component meets project requirements through to the final certificate of completion.

Yes, that means electrical, mechanical, fire, hydraulic and plumbing.

The Team

You’ll have a carefully handpicked team to make sure this project gets the high level of attention it deserves. You’ll work closely with senior management and the site team through construction, commissioning, and handover. I know this team well, so I’m confident I can get the personal and professional fit right very quickly.

You'll join a Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Site Manager, Senior Project Coordinator, and Project Coordinator.

The Role

- Leading the on-site and off-site engineering activities through to completion
- Assisting with commissioning, including preparing commissioning plans and monitoring deliverables
- Coordinating investigative works and supporting the team in planning engineering works
- Ensuring all engineering documentation (shop drawings, test reports, technical data) is accurate and on time
- Delivering O&M; manuals and handover documentation to the client
- Liaising with consultants, contractors and trades for timely, compliant delivery
- Monitoring site safety and contributing to progress and management reports

The Professional

- HVAC,



mechanical and/or electrical engineering background would be advantageous
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field is great but not essential
- Two to three years of experience as a Services Engineer in commercial construction, preferably

- Proactive, conscientious and thrives on autonomy
