About the Role
Early careers are welcome here. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be the friendly voice our customers turn to for help with their orders, deliveries and everyday questions. This is a virtual support role based in our Pinkenba office, so you will be supporting customers online and over the phone rather than working on a retail floor.
Training is provided, and you will be supported by an experienced team as you build your skills.
Your day to day
- Answer customer enquiries by phone, email, live chat and social media
- Help customers with order updates, delivery information and returns
- Follow our processes and guides to resolve common questions
- Pass more complex issues on to senior team members
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions in our systems
- Work alongside the team to deliver a great customer experience
Rostering
Shifts run across all 7 days of the week,
so we are looking for someone with flexible availability.
About You
- You enjoy helping people and are keen to learn
- You are friendly, patient and stay calm when things get busy
- You write and speak clearly
- You are reliable and open to feedback
- You are comfortable following set processes and using computer systems
- You work well in a team and ask for help when you need it
Previous customer service, hospitality or retail experience is helpful but not essential, and we warmly welcome applicants who are early in their careers. An interest in furniture or homewares is a bonus.
