About the Role

Dwellingup Trails and Visitor Centre (DTVC) is situated in the vibrant trails town of Dwellingup, which achieved national recognition as Australia's Top Tiny Tourism Town in 2023. Since it was established in 2020, Dwellingup Trails and Visitor Centre has been a catalyst for regional growth, driving visitor engagement with Dwellingup, Pinjarra and the wider Murray River WA region.

This Customer Service Officer role focuses on delivering a high-quality visitor experience at the Dwellingup Trails and Visitor Centre, actively promoting tourism across the Shire of Murray, and facilitating bookings for Herron Point Campground.

The Customer Service Officer (Tourism) position forms part of the Visitor Servicing team, comprising three Customer Service Officers (Tourism) and one Visitor Centre Coordinator.

This is a part-time position working 30 hours per fortnight across a 7 day a week roster.



An EBA Level 3 hourly rate of $34.65 with additional penalty rates for weekends and Public Holiday working.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience The successful applicant will have excellent communication, customer service and administration skills, with demonstrated knowledge of cash handling and reconciliation procedure and a valuable sense of initiative.
