About The Role

TMGM is seeking a Data Analyst to turn high-velocity trading data into accurate, timely, and useful financial insights. You will work with real-time data pipelines and platforms that may include Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ClickHouse. Your analysis will help stakeholders understand trading performance, execution quality, and market impact. This position is suited to a detail-oriented professional who combines robust technical skills with an understanding of financial markets and the ability to communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

- A university degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science,

or another quantitative or related discipline.
- Experience in finance or fintech, with a working understanding of financial instruments, trading operations, or trading data.
- Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write and optimise queries for large datasets. Experience with ClickHouse or another OLAP or columnar database is valuable.

- Strong Python skills for data manipulation, automation, and analytical processing.
- Experience presenting data through visualisation or business intelligence tools, such as Superset, Metabase, Power BI, or Grafana.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A careful, analytical approach to data quality, accuracy, governance, and compliance.
- Familiarity with orchestration and analytics workflows, including Airflow, dbt, and Git-based version control, is an advantage.

Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and improve automated profit and loss (P&L;) reporting frameworks using data from real-time streams.
- Analyse trading activity to identify execution patterns, slippage, market impact, and other performance trends.

- Write and optimise SQL queries in ClickHouse or comparable platforms to support productive analysis of large-scale financial datasets.
- Partner with trading and business stakeholders to define, document, and implement relevant performance indicators for trading desks.
- Monitor the quality, completeness, and integrity of data throughout reporting pipelines, investigating discrepancies and supporting accurate financial reporting.
- Build and maintain Python scripts that streamline recurring analyses and reduce manual reporting tasks.
- Design data models and schemas that support high-frequency reporting, reliable analysis, and business objectives.
- Present insights and recommendations in a transparent, practical format to help stakeholders make informed decisions.

Benefits

- Competitive salary and performance-based bonus opportunities.
- Career development and growth opportunities within an international company.
- A collaborative, inclusive environment with exposure to cross-region operations.
- Health and wellness benefits.
- Flexible working arrangements, subject to role and business requirements.

Equal Opportunity

TMGM is committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and professional workplace. Employment decisions are based on role requirements, qualifications, skills, and business needs. We welcome applications from qualified candidates of diverse backgrounds and do not tolerate discrimination or harassment.

All applicants will be considered fairly and consistently throughout the recruitment process.
