We're hiring | Data & Digital Integration Engineer | Brisbane

12 month contract with view to extend

NES Fircroft are currently looking for a Data & Digital Integration Engineer to join a major energy business in Brisbane.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone with a strong background in data engineering, advanced analytics and machine learning who enjoys turning complex operational data into practical solutions that improve business performance.

What you'll be doing:

- Developing data-driven solutions, automation and advanced analytics.
- Applying AI and machine learning to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities.
- Building and improving data pipelines, analytical models and digital products.
- Integrating insights into operational systems and engineering environments.
- Working closely with production, engineering and technology teams to deliver measurable improvements.

What we're looking for:





- Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience with machine learning, statistical modelling and time-series analytics.
- Exposure to platforms such as Databricks, Azure ML, Spark and MLOps.
- Familiarity with industrial systems such as PI, SCADA, SAP or Maximo.

Experience in the energy, oil & gas or LNG sectors would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
