Cairns Specialist Orthodontists is seeking a motivated, reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly team. We are looking for someone with previous dental assisting experience who is genuinely committed to a long-term career opportunity and becoming a valued member of our practice.
This role offers a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Chairside assisting in a specialist orthodontic practice
- Fabricating orthodontic appliances in our on-site laboratory
- Sterilisation and infection control procedures
- Perform digital teeth scanning and take patient records
The position will commence as a casual role, with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment.
Pay will be negotiated based on the applicable award, age, and any relevant experience. About You The ideal candidate will:

- Be available Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 7:45 am and 5:30 pm
