Are you a skilled Diesel Fitter looking for your next opportunity?
SMH Equipment is seeking a proactive, reliable Diesel Fitter to join our team in Townsville. This is a permanent, full-time role based in our workshop, with field work as required to support our customers.
THE ROLE:
- Townsville based position.
- Perform scheduled servicing, diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on machinery in workshop or field settings.
- Conduct agile/static testing and document job details accurately.
- Liaise with internal and external customers on job status and recommendations.
- Provide technical support and identify opportunities for improvement.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
