We are seeking an experienced Digital Integration & Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expert (NV1) to support the successful integration of complex technology, communications, and digital capabilities across a large-scale operational environment.

This role will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to define integration requirements, assess solution alignment, identify risks, and ensure new capabilities are implemented in a way that supports interoperability, governance, and long-term operational outcomes. The ideal candidate will combine strong systems engineering expertise with the ability to influence stakeholders and provide strategic technical advice.

This role does require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance at a minimum.

Responsibilities

- Lead the assessment and definition of integration requirements for new and evolving digital capabilities.
- Develop and review solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, technical standards, and interoperability objectives.
- Conduct technical analysis and impact assessments across complex, interconnected systems and platforms.
- Identify, document, and manage integration risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies throughout the capability lifecycle.
- Provide specialist systems engineering and technical assurance advice to program, project, and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support planning, validation, testing, and implementation activities.
- Contribute to governance processes, technical documentation, and decision-making forums to support successful capability outcomes.

Requirements





- Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, solution integration, enterprise architecture, or complex ICT environments.
- Robust understanding of system interoperability, interface management, and integration frameworks.
- Experience analysing and translating business or operational requirements into technical outcomes.
- Proven ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting technology delivery programs through design, assurance, risk management, and governance activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in complex and rapidly evolving environments.
