About the role The Legislative Services Directorate is at the forefront of legislative change in the State and is regarded as a lead agency in the provision of high quality and precise policy advice and drafting instructions. The justice portfolio encompasses criminal and civil justice and corrective services policy reform. The Directorate has extensive corporate knowledge and experience in delivering on complex policy projects to support the Attorney General and Minister for Corrective Services as part of their legislative reform agendas.

The Directorate has three work streams: development and drafting of legislation; implementation of legislation; and review of legislation. Current vacancies relate to the development and drafting of legislation only. The successful applicant will demonstrate the capability to achieve the key deliverables outlined in the Forms.
