The Position EPA Victoria is seeking a Director, Strategic Planning & Performance to help shape the future of EPA as a modern, intelligence-led and risk-based regulator. The Director will ensure organisational priorities, intelligence, risk information and performance insights are translated into coordinated regulatory strategies, interventions and measurable outcomes.

The role reports to the Executive Director, Strategy, Capability and Circular Economy and will lead a highly committed and qualified team. In this role, the Director will drive prioritisation and performance across the EPA, aligning annual priorities and regulatory delivery with long-term ambition and measurable environmental outcomes.

An early priority for the Director will be leading the development of a new five-year Strategic Plan for the organisation.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience leading strategic planning, performance, or transformation functions within complex organisations. Experience in a government / regulatory environment is highly regarded.

You will possess highly developed analytical, behavioural intervention and systems-thinking capabilities, together with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders,



navigate complexity and drive enterprise-wide outcomes.
