About the role An experienced, calm and reliable disability support worker to support a young adult in Mullaloo at home and in the community.
Key responsibilities
- Support a young adult with autism, anxiety and behaviours of concern
- Apply Positive Behaviour Support principles
- Build rapport through gaming, reading, easy games and outdoor activities
- Encourage independence with daily routines and community participation
- Offer choices and avoid pressure in a flexible approach
About you
- Experience supporting people with autism, anxiety and behaviours of concern
- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support
- Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Australian work rights
- Driver's licence
- Reliable, appropriately insured vehicle
- Male under 30 years of age (client request)
- Available 3 hours per day flexible Monday to Friday
