About the role

We’re looking for experienced, reliable support workers to provide one-to-one personal care and daily living support to a participant in Sans Souci.

You’ll receive guidance from our registered nurse, role-specific training and a supported introduction to the participant.

Shifts available

Monday to Friday

- 6 am–2 pm
- 2 pm–10 pm

Applicants can apply for either shift. Please include your available days and preferred shift in your application.

Your responsibilities

- Assist with personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing and hygiene.
- Assist with daily routines while respecting the participant’s choices, privacy and independence.
- Follow individual support plans and agreed care procedures.
- Complete clear, accurate care notes.
- Report changes, concerns and incidents promptly.

What we’re looking for

Applicants must have

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Relevant disability support experience, including hands-on personal care.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
- A current National Police Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module — Quality, Safety and You.




- Relevant infection prevention and control training.
- A current Australian driver’s licence and access to reliable transport.
- Australian working rights.
- The ability to safely assist with personal care, transfers and mobility using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Clear communication and the ability to follow support plans and complete accurate care notes.
- Reliability, patience and respect for the participant’s privacy and choices.

If using your own vehicle to transport the participant, comprehensive vehicle insurance is required.

Before starting

Shortlisted applicants will need to provide evidence of qualifications, training, screening checks, working rights and their driver’s licence. Skilled references will also be checked.
