Must-have stack: .NET/C# | REST APIs | SQL Server | SQL | SFTP | File Processing

Essential Criteria :

- Robust .NET / C# development skills, particularly REST APIs / backend APIs.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and backend engineering experience.
- Experience developing data migration scripts, utilities and migration services.
- Strong SQL skills for extraction, transformation, validation and data reconciliation.
- Experience with file-based data migration, including structured file formats.
- Hands-on experience with SFTP-based file transfer and ingestion.
- Experience integrating source systems with target platforms through APIs, batch processing and ETL.
- Ability to build migration engines/services for high-volume backend data movement.
- Strong focus on migration validation, data integrity, reconciliation and error handling.





Key Responsibilities :

- Develop backend components for a large-scale system migration programme.
- Build SQL Server and .NET-based migration utilities/services.
- Develop migration scripts and APIs to extract, transform and load data.
- Process data received through SFTP/files and load it into target systems.
- Build and support ETL/batch interfaces between source and target platforms.
- Implement data validation and reconciliation across migration stages.
- Troubleshoot migration failures, data-quality issues and interface errors.
- Support migration testing, rehearsal and production cutover activities.
